How to create stereo images with STOIK Imagic.

There are special tools in Imagic designed to create stereo images. They are available in Tools-Stereo menu in STOIK Imagic Image Browser.

Anaglyph

Anaglyphs are images where the red and cyan channels have been split and then reassembled so that the image appears three-dimensional when viewed through two-color glasses with lenses of the chromatically opposite colors, red and cyan.
To create an anaglyph image, select source image file(s) and run Tools - Stereo - Create Anaglyph menu command.
Create Anaglyph dialog box appears on screen and allows to select the source image order, the output file name, format and location.
You can use as sources:

  • two separate image files;
  • MPO file (e.g. from FujiFilm cameras);
  • a stereogram file containing two images placed side by side.

Stereo Pair

Stereo pair (stereogram) is an image file containing two images placed side by side and used by a third party software and some hardware to produce 3D effect view. To create a stereo pair, select source image file(s) and run Tools - Stereo - Create Stereo Pair File menu command. Create Stereo Pair dialog box appears on screen and allows to select the source image order, the output file name, format and location.
