Compatibility and installation tips for
PM ArtGallery and PM Rubber plugins for Windows

1. Install copy of plugin to separate folder for each host application (e.g. into default plugin folder of your host).

2. During initial installation you may not specify the host application. You will then be requested to specify host when you first apply the plugin filter.

3. Most of the problems that may occur with plugins are due to improper host compatibility settings. You can easily solve by changing host settings of the plugin:

• Locate and delete plugin INI file (PMARTG.INI or RUBBER.INI)
• Run plugin filter from your host application
• You will see 'Host has changed' dialog with otions to choose other host settings
• If your host is not listed choose one of options in order of preference:
  - another version of your host application
  - Adobe Photoshop 3.05 - this setting is recommended for enabling most of filter preview features,  such as panning. Note that some preview features may not be supported by your host.
  - Unknown Host
  - any other host from the list

4. The reported problem with OilPaint filter from PM ArtGallery with versions 7.0 and 8.0 of Corel PhotoPaint was fixed in PMAG8.8BF available for download from our site. Download PMAG8.ZIP , unzip and copy (overwrite) PMAG8.8BF to the folder where plugin filters are installed (this folder contains PMARTG.INI file).
