SmartSmooth filter
 

New SmartSmooth processing tool is advanced modification of popular Gaussian blur filter with threshold. It is particulary effective for removal of noise in smooth background areas.

Note: The filter works well as preprocessing tool for SmoothSigma filter.

Radius sets size of the filter. The larger the radius, the stronger the smoothing.


Threshold determines how wide will be the range of brightness and color of pixels to be affected. The larger the parameter, the more details will be smoothed.


Feather allows to blur edges between smoothed and unprocessed areas for more natural - looking results.
