NEW - EXPORT TO WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT

The major improvement that comes with update is ability to export movies directly to Windows Media video files. Windows Media technology from Microsoft offers best solution for delivering high compression video and audio for such bandwidth-critical applications as streaming video over LAN or Internet, or playing movies on hand-held devices.

Now you can easily create videos that can be played on PocketPC devices such as Ipaq or HP Jornada. Video Man comes with Pocket PC presets to help you create new project with optimal video and audio settings. When you create movie with File-Make Movie command you now have additional choice of Windows Media files in Save As dialog. Properties-Media Profiles command allows you to choose profile that better suits target destination of your Windows Media movies.

When you export movies to Windows Media files directly from Video Man you avoid recompression otherwise inevitable if you use separate encoding utility.

Note that new export feature requires Windows Media components that normally are installed with latest version of Windows Media Player and are freely available from Microsoft web site.
